Hello, my name is Dr. Armish Hassan, and I am a researcher, and entrepreneur. My journey in healthcare began with my graduation as a dentist, followed by specialized courses in dentistry and facial aesthetics. However, my true passion for healthcare research was ignited during my academic years, where I developed a strong interest in understanding non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, mental health disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.
During my master’s in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, I published two research papers, and this accomplishment played a key role in shaping my future as a researcher. I became deeply committed to exploring how scientific research can solve real-world health challenges, particularly in the context of chronic diseases and preventive care.
Years of experience
Effectiveness of Medicines
While my journey began in clinical practice, it quickly expanded into the world of public health research. My growing interest in diabetes management and prevention motivated me to investigate innovative solutions that address the complications associated with this disease. I strongly believe in the role of research in driving change, and this belief guided me to establish Stealthsox, a brand designed to offer protection and comfort for diabetic patients through socks infused with aloe vera and citronella oils. This initiative was born from my desire to merge scientific findings with practical solutions that can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Specialized consultations in oral health and facial aesthetics.
Offering expertise in public health research, study design, and chronic disease epidemiology.
Providing education on diabetes, cardiovascular health, and mental health through advocacy and community initiatives.
Moving forward, my primary goal is to contribute further to diabetes research, with a focus on prevention and effective management strategies. I am particularly interested in studying the interplay between diabetes, mental health, and cardiovascular diseases, and how an integrated approach can lead to better health outcomes for patients. I aim to explore community-based interventions and early detection models to reduce the burden of diabetes and its complications, especially in underserved populations.
Looking ahead, my primary focus is on the prevention of diabetes and its complications through innovative, evidence-based strategies. As a researcher, I believe that the key to tackling this global health crisis lies in early detection, targeted interventions, and community-based prevention programs. My future goals include:
Ultimately, my goal is to bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring that the latest scientific findings reach those who need them the most. By continuing my work in diabetes research, I aspire to contribute to a future where diabetes is no longer a life-threatening condition but a manageable one, with fewer complications and improved quality of life for patients worldwide.

Diabetes occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin or can’t use it effectively. This can be due to genetic factors, lifestyle choices, autoimmune responses, or hormonal changes during pregnancy.
While Type 1 diabetes cannot be prevented, Type 2 diabetes can often be delayed or avoided with a healthy diet, regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and monitoring blood sugar levels.
Focus on whole, unprocessed foods like vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limit sugary drinks, fried foods, and refined carbs. Eating smaller, frequent meals can also help control blood sugar levels.
Exercise lowers blood sugar by improving how your body uses insulin. It also helps with weight management and reduces the risk of complications like heart disease. Aim for at least 30 minutes of activity most days.
Signs include shakiness, sweating, confusion, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, and hunger. Treat it immediately with a fast-acting carbohydrate like juice, glucose tablets, or candy, and recheck your levels.
